Antique 5 Stack Barrister Bookcase--this is such a cool piece, I recently pulled it out of a time capsule of a house and it was in the living room actually being used--the owner was a book reviewer or something because it was full of 1st edition books with instructions about when to publish reviews--it is very solid and sound and all the doors open and slide as they should except for the bottom one which folds up but will not slide in but it DOES slide in when the top shelves are NOT stacked on top...it may just be a simple adjustment--the top has a strip of wood missing (pictured) but this is totally out of sight being on the very top--as for the finish, it looks to have been painted black at some point way back because it looks to have a stained look in the worn places so it can be cleaned up and used just as it is, it can be repainted or it can be sanded to give it a distressed look with the black and stained color--absolutely cool statement piece that is half the price of anything else out there--measurements are 34 1/2W x 11D x 79H individual height 12 1/4--IF INTERESTED come by during the business hours listed below--(items located in my Cool Thrift Booth at Trendy Treasures Vendor Mall)
