35 Evinrude - $800

I have a 1981 Evinrude 35hp tiller handle motor. Motor has been converted to electric start and will fire up and run but needs tuned up. I worked on the motor a few years back and cleaned the carb and put in a new water pump impeller, thermostat and changed plugs and cleaned fuel filter but then never used the motor due to my work schedule. Im not sure if the spark adjustment linkage timing is off but it will begin spitting and sputtering after running for a few minutes above idle. I cranked the motor up last week to get everything ready to put it on a boat i just bought and it was pissing water as it should then i shut it off to check something else and it would not piss after that. Impeller is still flexible and still looks new but i am just tired of messing with it and plan to just get a new one and not bother with this one anymore. Motor has never seen salt water from what i understand and the water jacket is not corroded as it likely would with salt water.
