Burbank Benge 6X Bb Trumpet - $2,250

This Burbank Benge is a lacquered 6X. This horn was also rebuilt and has patches. Again, can demo. $2250 for the lacquered 6X. The price is less than I paid for the horn. The horn has the original case. I’m sell a few of my horns to purchase another horn. I will also entertain trades, Bach 190 72V, NY7, Schilke, looking for a horn for legit work. Benge Trumpet- Burbank 6X Trumpet, 468 large bore with a .345 lead pipe venturi in Lacquer. Valves have been replated and compression is excellent.
Has a precision valve alignment with Synthetic washers and is quite a player. There are two patches on the horn- one on the first valve casing and one on the third valve slide, with lacquer touch up in several spots on the horn. Evidence of dent repair on the bell flare. Serial number 8390 (1971). Some interesting info on this horn - google "How did the L.A. Benge claude Gordon model come about?" and click on everything trumpet. This horn has the smaller bell, it's one of the pre Claude Gordon Benges. Next, google "Joe Lill Benge", click on Chicago benge resource site, and scroll down to the Burbank benge pdf sheet. It's near the bottom of the sheet. Original case is included.
